We go beyond the wish. We provide extraordinary experiences to kids battling a terminal or life-threatening condition and support the entire family. We are a Minnesota-based, 501(c)3 tax deductible children’s charity that connects with families in Minnesota.

​HopeKids provides ongoing events, activities, and a powerful, unique support community for families who have a child with cancer or some other life-threatening medical condition. We surround these remarkable children and their families with the message that hope is a powerful medicine.

Rated Four Stars by Charity Navigator, Give Kids The World Village is an 89-acre, whimsical nonprofit resort in Kissimmee, Florida, that provides weeklong, cost-free wish vacations to children with critical illnesses and their families from around the world who want to visit Central Florida.​

What’s a wonderful way to aid a child or family in distress? Have a lot of fun with them. Give them a reason to smile. And then give a little more. This is what we love to do

We give each nominated child an evening of fun and imagination for the whole family, as he or she plays the starring role in an exciting, collaborative and interactive show.

​

To complete the nominated child’s superhero transformation, he or she will get to go for a thrilling and unforgettable ride in the Batmobile (driven by Mom or Dad)!​​​

These incredible organizations have played a meaningful role in supporting our family and our daughter, Aurora, during seasons that could have looked very different without them. Because of their generosity and heart for families like ours, we were given opportunities to attend special events and experiences that we may not have otherwise been able to enjoy. Through the Colten Cowell Foundation, we were able to attend the Bat Cave—an experience filled with excitement, joy, and unforgettable moments that brought so much happiness to Aurora and our entire family.

One of the most impactful gifts came when Aurora was granted a wish trip through Wishes and More, which allowed our family to stay at Give Kids the World. That experience gave us the chance to slow down, be fully present together, and create memories that will stay with us forever. Alongside the love and support we’ve received from HopeKids, these organizations helped us bond as a family, laugh together, and experience moments of pure joy. Because of what they poured into our lives, we now feel called to give back—supporting these charities in gratitude for all they have done for Aurora and for families like ours.
